Ibiza has been occupied too many types by different invaders. Ibiza became a colony of Carthage in 700BC. Then it was conquered by the Romans.
The Arabs stayed there for almost 500 years and constructed a mosque. Then it was invaded by the Catalans, who created and settled their churches all around the town.
Ibiza also had to deal with Pirates who wanted to ransack the town. If you want to know a little more about all these invasions, you can visit Ibiza where you will still find some archeological remains around the city.
One of the most important Ibiza’s tourist attractions are definitely its beaches of white and golden sands and crystal waters. Ibiza beaches are considered as the best beaches in Europe.
